Power Supply

CCTV installation services, Home security camera installation, CCTV installation

CCTV power supply box, also known as security power distribution unit, allows security camera installers to consolidate the power source of multiple cameras to a central point. Combined with RG59U siamese cable or video baluns, wiring becomes neater and easier to manage from one source.

Instead of having a power adapter for each camera, all the cameras can be run in to one power supply box. Usually the power box is installed near the location of the DVR. The power supply box are easy to use; simply run your cabling and connect the 2-wire leads from the power portion of your Siamese cable by screwing them down in to the screw-terminal panel inside the cctv power box. Then connect the power box to a standard 110V AC power outlet and installation is finished. No electrician is required for CCTV cabling or powering your cameras. There is no need to have an outlet near your cameras.

Yendra Techno Solution offers from 2Amps to 20Amps amperage varieties for power distribution boxes, please choose the one that best fits your cameras.

Surveillance HDD

CCTV installation services, Home security camera installation, CCTV installation

Hard Drives are not really the first thing that comes to our minds when we are thinking about our cctv installation setup. That honor goes to the camera right? Whether you plan to record just motion detection clips or 24/7 round the clock, the safety of your recordings comes down to one thing:

The hard drives you choose for your DVR (Digital Video Recorder) or NVR (Network Video Recorder)

In fact, I would say that the hard drive is the weakest link in your CCTV setup.

Why ?

Because it is the only mechanical device in the whole system. Since hard drives do not last forever and will fail at some point, it is very important to choose the best hard drive for your DVR, NVR or NAS.

  • 1TB surveillance hard disk to 16TB hard disk at present in market
  • Supports upto 32 simultaneous all streams and 64 HD cameras stream
  • We suggest per the industry best made quality hard disk 24*7 workload of 550TB/year.

Players In The HDD Market

Western Digital, Seagate and Toshiba are the market leaders. It’s worth noting that Western Digital now owns HGST (Hitachi). Also interesting is the fact that WD and Toshiba are partners.

Video Baluns

CCTV installation services, Home security camera installation, CCTV installation

CCTV Video Baluns, also known as UTP Baluns, allow the security camera installer to minimize cost of wiring for surveillance camera installations by using network cabling such as category 6 or CAT5e cable instead of Siamese Coax Cable. With UTP video baluns any type of twisted pair wire or 2-wire structured cabling such as RJ11 phone wire can be used to transmit video signals up to 3000ft.

For example, if you are beginning a CCTV installation in a an office building there may already be CAT3 or CAT-5 telephone lines. Presence of such cabling can eliminate the need to run coaxial cable. Also important to note is that you only need one twisted pair (two wire leads) to run one video signal. In a network CAT5 or CAT6 cable there are 4 pairs of 22 gauge twisted pair wiring, which means you can run up to four CCTV camera video signals per CAT5/CAT6 wire.

When choosing the correct Video Balun for your security camera installation, you should consider the distance of transmission. There are two types of baluns, i.e. passive balun (non powered), and active video balun (powered). For video transmission less than 1000ft, passive balun are be used on both ends. For longer distances, we recommend the use of Active Video Baluns to transmit video up to 3000ft. It is also common practice to use a passive video balun on the camera and Active Video Balun Receiver to achieve video transmission up to 1500ft.

Regardless of which UTP video balun you use, it is important to keep in mind that the quality of the wire determines the success of your CCTV installation. CCA CAT5e wire can be used for short distances, but for long distances like 1000ft and above, we recommend using solid copper CAT5e wire.
